As part of our agreements with our partner venues we have had to set guidelines to meet both health and safety, environmental and insurance criteria, therefore it is vital all club members follow the rules whilst using these facilities:

Worcester Model Boat Club have multiple venues available to Worcester Model Boat Club members, these are in the majority for the SOLE use of Worcester Model Boat Club members. As a WMBC member you always have somewhere to sail.

Cob House Country Park
​
The home of Worcester Model Boat Club is Cob House Country Park, WR6 6YE. Here we have our own superb pond overlooking the outstanding Mayfly cafe, all set in the stunning Cob House Country Park. In the heart of the gorgeous Worcestershire Countryside. We have all the facilities of a cafe / restaurant offers, so toilets, refreshments, proper parking etc. We also have the luxury in the summer months of being able to park immediately poolside. So we meet for breakfast in the cafe and then set sail. Could ask for nothing more.

At Cob House we sail in the pond overlooking the superb Mayfly cafe, this pond for the sole use of WMBC! We have a bespoke launching facility, rescue equipment, safety equipment and a full size rescue launch (dinghy) all available to our WMBC members! The pond at Cob offers our members opportunity to sail any type of vessel from the smallest to the largest from the fastest to the slowest, Cob the ideal venue for RC, only thing we dont sail is I/C .

Our access is unrivaled, 363 days a year! and we can set sail anytime the venue is open.

During these unprecedented times we have established covid 19 safe procedures for meeting and sailing. These details available to all WMBC members. WMBC are in constant communication with Public Health England. This ensuring we keep our members and our partner venues as safe as possible. Our management team includes fully qualified health and safety professionals. Ensuring our compliance and commitment to keep our member as safe as possible. We have been commended on our approach by local government and public health England, we have continued to sail and been safe! Our members our number one priority.
